Rosa has rich background in education and coordination. As an Assistant Coordinator at Life Academy's After School Program, Rosa displayed her expertise in managing day-to-day operations, ensuring student safety, and upholding rigorous academic standards. Her experience as a Mentor at the same institution and the East Bay Asian Youth Center further solidifies her commitment to student success and holistic development.
In addition to mentoring, Rosa's role as a Para-Educator at Skyline High School and a Teacher's Assistant at Roosevelt Middle School shows her support of students of diverse needs and abilities. Her innovative approach as a Teach to One Instructor showcased her ability to adapt and implement new teaching methodologies.
Rosa is also an active volunteer, serving as an Ambassador for Oakland Promise, a community initiative aimed at ensuring every child in Oakland successfully completes college.
On the academic front, Rosa is a proud graduate from Civicorps School in Oakland. She is fluent in both Spanish and English.
Furthermore, Rosa is CPR certified and has successfully passed the Alameda County Paraprofessional Aide Exam
